For example

https://fluxbb.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=6834 https://fluxbb.org/resources/styles/victory-responsive-fluxbb-style/

It would help a lot for people who are reading a lot with the smartphone.

Thread about it: https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=61267

I'm not sure who could take care if this. @Haikuch is not active, so I guess we're looking for a person skilled enough to make such changes. Would you like to try, for example?

natrius commented 5 years ago

Hm, i worked with phpBB before, but usally a new template should not be that big of a problem. I could give it a try.

Great, we will also need to test communication with deployment/operation team (maybe just here), because I was not involved in migration to the current version and I don't know with whom should we talk about it.

@kocio-pl pleace check, when time, https://www.natrius.eu/fluxbb/index.php - i made a new style and will upload it so it can be deployed. There are some already available now in the forum, but they are not that good.

kocio-pl commented 5 years ago

Could you tell what changes does it introduce? Where could we see its code?

natrius commented 5 years ago

It is based on the Victory theme thats available online. It does not change a alot as intended, the Sections are now a little bit more separated. And, it is responsive now, you can watch it on the cellphone at all, compared to the original Air Style. I will upload it later to the official fluxBB site and i will make an GitHub Repository as well.

Great, thanks! I myself rarely use forum on my phone, but I think it makes sense to let people on the forum know that they can test it and maybe improve it further, maybe here would be good enough:
