Fix PHILAware-related edits in Pampanga #59

I'm noticing problems with some ongoing PHILAware mapping projects (with tasks nos. 7775, 7776, 7850, 7851 7894, 7928, 7929, 7931, 8008, 8013, 8035, 8036, 8085, 8087, 8088, 8089, 8090, 8091, 8092, 8093, 8094, 8095, 8164. 8165) in Pampanga, which I attempted to fix in this edit. Some mappers have been using higher road classifications on local collectors or residential streets, tag buildings with highway tags, and mangling existing features.

The mapping project is ongoing as of March 25 (with HOT task no. 8035 in Mabalacat the only one ongoing), and should be monitored closely for suspicious edits. Fortunately, most edits are tagged for review, and any erroneous mapping can be spotted and fixed immediately.

Hello @TagaSanPedroAko !

This is Feye from HOT-Philippines team. Thank you for the heads-up. We already started the validation process for the PhilAWARE-MAPampanga tasks. Our validation team is focusing first on 8036 and 7851 this week. But of course, any help from the OSM community is appreciated to fast-track our validation process.

Let me know if you have any other concerns.

Best regards, Feye

Hello!

Just to give an update here, we have completed the remote mapping and validation tasks for the campaign #PhilAWARE/#MAPampanga.

We also started our field mapping activities for the municipalities in Pampanga last mid- August to add and update the critical lifeline infrastructures per municipality based on the PhilAWARE Data Model.

We are hoping to conduct a second run of validation for each municipality once we have completed our whole fieldwork activities.

If you encounter any problematic #PhilAWARE edits, kindly let me know.

Thanks!

Feye

Philaware project has ended I don't think there will be an organized mapping in the future to resolve this.
