At present when running with --skip-previous, the task never reaches completion because the starred discovery observation that is presented to give the user an idea of what the object looks like always remains in the image stack.
Validate should exit normally (i.e. with congratulation message) when the stack length is one and the only item in the stack is the discovery observation.
