Our database schema may require optimization. I know for a fact that our database contains unused tables and other cruft that we can eliminate.

Reduce the number of joins required for data queries (get last month's data for a building)
Add simple performance testing for API routes to prevent future performance regressions
Create paged API endpoints?

I'm not sure if this has been addressed but I think Milan did mention that we still do have too many SQL joins, so I'll keep this issue open
