Slowdowns in the coind #13

I'm having an issue where every few hours the coind slows way down, causing the DOA rate on my p2pool node to soar. Other coins on the machine were fine. I found that in the debug.log, a number of CBlock entries would appear which I recall from debugging Mazacoin someone said shouldn't be happening. Here was a fix someone came up with for Mazacoind:

which I'm going to try on Uno to see if it fixes the problem.

You can see it clearly on my daily graph (only for next day if this fixed it) but also somewhat on the long term weekly graph.

Alas, no help. Will close this since I don't even know where the problem is coming from.
