3 years ago Hey @FraGard - volume is good for something like hydro, but is confusing for modelling something like batteries. But a different word might make sense. What about 'StorageEnergyCapacity'? It's especially problematic as many papers discuss the capacity of storage in power units (and then only sometimes define what they mean by that with something like 'for x hours'). Not sure what the most effective word would be.
Wondering if it would be good to replace 'capacity' with 'volume' in the names of the storage parameters? Many times people seem to get confused with the Technology capacity and think the storage would be in power units.
