Hi @willu47 - No issues adding authors and ORCID ID's, and the list looks fine. One quick question: Is there any meaning/importance to the author order? If there is importance to that, we might want to spend a bit of thought on who should be where in the list.
Hi @tniet - yes, the ordering in this file influences the author order on Zenodo for the software citation.
@willu47 - How was the current order decided? Number of commits?
I put Mark first and then randomly added names.
@willu47 - we probably want to try to rank in order of contribution? Not sure how to measure/decide that, though... Any suggestions? I think you and Abhi should be higher on the list for sure, as a start.
Currently the list reads: Mark, Fra, Vignesh, Agnese, Nandi, Taco, Abhi, Roberto, Will...
@abhishek0208 @FraGard @vignesh1987 @AgnesBelt @robertodawid @NMoksnes any thoughts?
@willu47, @tniet, all: Personally, I have no preference here. We can start with having those who make regular edits and contributions to OSeMOSYS and Otoole (Abhi and Will).
@vignesh1987 this is a software citation only for Gnu MathProg. Otoole will be dealt with separately.
I am not sure how to best add the authors mentioned above.
Should I clone the author_metadata
branch and work on it? and then re-submit a pull request.
Also, the OSeMOSYS Fast version was developed mainly by Jonas Hörsch. This should be his current affiliation
@chrwm - is your ORCID - 0000-0001-8144-5260?

Hi @willu47, yes, this is my ORCID id.
We need to add names and ORCID ids of those who have contributed to the OSeMOSYS GNU MathProg code, scripts, or anything else in this repository.
Note this excludes the documentation which is hosted in OSeMOSYS/OSeMOSYS
