Stranded assets #119

It would be interesting to come up with an indicator for stranded assets. Especially in a myopic setting they might appear.

Perhaps this issue can be used for ideation how to calculate/define such an indicator based on OSeMOSYS results.

Hi @HauHe - I'm not sure this is an otoole specific question (might be more appropriate in OSeMOSYS/OSeMOSYS_GNUMathProg or OSeMOSYS/OSeMOSYS). I also wonder what you're trying to get at with stranded assets, specifically.

OSeMOSYS can 'strand' an asset by installing it in a given year and then not using it for the remainder of its life, so this might not be an issue. Maybe this would be a 'no salvage value' parameter?
