Looks like HyperRAM 3.0 is upcomming: https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/memories/psram-pseudostatic-dram/

We are going to get twice wider data bus width, i.e. 16 bit at 200MHz = 800Mbit/s per chip

Part datasheet: https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-Data_Sheet_HYPERRAM-DataSheet-v01_00-EN.pdf?fileId=8ac78c8c80027ecd018050aef7544588

OpenHBMC is going to support this new standard!

we have developed an open standard for peripheral modules that fits nicely for HyperRAM devices, we have produced also a lot CRUVI boards with different hyperRAM device (unfortunately currently not our shop visible), but you can see the form factor here:

https://shop.trenz-electronic.de/de/CR00091-01-CRUVI-Loopback-Adapter CRUVI HyperRAM modules look very similar, we also have a full range of carrier boards for CRUVI modules, for you CR00107 would be of interest: https://shop.trenz-electronic.de/de/CR00107-01-CRUVI-carrier-board-with-AMD-Spartan-7 you can see that it has one CRUVI HS slot suitable to connect additional CRUVI peripheral boards with assembled HyperRAM devices.

We will develop CRUVI HyperRAM 3.0 board also, so one carrier platform is all you need for hardware validation.
