This might be a misunderstanding on my end, however the german translation and the MASTG (https://github.com/OWASP/owasp-mastg/blob/master/Document/0x06h-Testing-Platform-Interaction.md#testing-object-persistence-mstg-platform-8) refer to serialization which should be reflected as well in the requirement text instead of deserialization.

Hi @t3chn0m4g3, thanks for pointing that out. We'll have to leave it like it is since we've already moved to the MASVS v2. The GitHub repo will be updated soon. For now you can find the MASVS v2 here:
