2 years ago Discussed this with @sumnerboy12 and agreed that periodic messages not really that useful as we can use LWT. Also wifi signal can be monitored elsewhere e.g. from one's wireless controller :) So I'll close this.
When rebooted, we get a message on the adopt topic with the following:
Do you think it would be useful to
a) also provide wireless signal and channel? b) implement a periodic state message with the above info?
With tasmotas, I have found this a really good way of monitoring wifi signal, but also very useful for troubleshooting connection issues.
