Running in Mac (maybe Windows)? #2

How do we envision users following along if they don't have access to a Linux machine? Do we expect them to spin up a container and run Jupyter from that? If so it might be worth providing an image with the necessary prerequisites and instructions on getting the notebook to the talk to the oasis server container. On Mac it seems like the Linux instructions work just fine (modulo a system dependency on spatialindex).

It should run on Mac fine - we use MacOS + Ubuntu for dev machines just fine. It should also all run on the Windows versions that have the Linux subsystem, though I think there are a few tweaks needed to get Docker running. Native Windows isn't really supported.

We will spend a bit of time on this in the next few weeks beefing up the instructions for more general consumption, plus tidying up a few things. The current version was very much aimed at the instructor led sessions on the provided Linux environments.
