That seems highly unlikely that that would be a problem with the entire iPhone operating system. I guess it would be a little more likely that it is a problem with the touchscreen controls that would be very difficult to fix, but this is definitely not impossible to fix. Think of any game that you’ve played that has touch controls. Try the same process with that game. The joystick or button will return to its original state. Describe the issue
If you have a touchscreen joystick or button pressed in or pointing in a direction and then you open the app switcher, those buttons/joysticks will stay that way until you press them again. Not a huge bug, more so just a minor annoyance.
