Publishing values inside MS Word text boxes

Hi,

I need to publish documents with graphical frames. In these frames some dynamic information needs to be added from m2doc variables. Text boxes are used to create these frames. Text boxes are needed to rotate text on the page.

As my experiments shown currently m2doc does not provide functionality of inserting values inside text boxes.

It would be great to add this functionality.

Below is an example of graphical frame. In this example I need to publish 061.00.0100ТО31 number inside the text box.

That's a limitation of M2Doc #144. And in some cases it even break M2Doc to have text areas #312.

By the way I've integrated M2doc with Ansys Medini. A lot of services, diagrams, ui. Standard reporting solution is based on Birt. I think M2doc gives much more flexible solution especially in styling.

And for the most of reports customers want such frames to be published.

Well don't rely to much on the milestone, I usually don't have the time to do everything. I use the milestone to make sure no bugs are forgotten. M2Doc and AQL are meant to be extended and integrated into other solutions. I'm glade you could integrate M2Doc with Ansys Medini to fit your needs.

I understand your planning principles and lack of time to solve all the issues. Will try to analyze M2doc code to understand can I help with this issue.

We have created first prototype of integration for our customers. And planed to discuss this integration with Ansys product managers.

To change that in M2Doc you will have to change the parser and the interpreter. I didn't look into this for the moment.
