Cannot install UML Designer 8.0 on Eclipse #1028

I have the following details: Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. Software being installed: UML Designer SDK 8.0.0.201709181143 (org.obeonetwork.dsl.uml2.runtime.sdk.feature.feature.group 8.0.0.201709181143) Missing requirement: UML Designer 8.0.0.201709181143 (org.obeonetwork.dsl.uml2.runtime.feature.feature.group 8.0.0.201709181143) requires 'org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu; org.eclipse.sirius.runtime.acceleo.feature.group 0.0.0' but it could not be found Cannot satisfy dependency: From: UML Designer SDK 8.0.0.201709181143 (org.obeonetwork.dsl.uml2.runtime.sdk.feature.feature.group 8.0.0.201709181143) To: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu; org.obeonetwork.dsl.uml2.runtime.feature.feature.group [8.0.0.201709181143,8.0.0.201709181143]

How can I solve it?

I too had this problem, gave up on installing UMLDesigner. Fortunately I had an old version that still worked. Hopefully there will be a release tomorrow. Development seems a tad slow at UMLDesigner these days.

@pietermartin , install plugin https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/sirius, which is required for UML Designer. Then install UML Designer 8.1 as answered in above stackoverflow link.
