Request for the "Profile Viewpoint" Add a tree view for the UML meta-model in the “UML Profile Design” viewpoint, that will be used just to provide an overview of the UML meta-model.

I am not sur to understand what you propose. You propose to add a new tree representation to show the UML metamodel? What is the difference with opening the uml.ecore by using the ecore editor ?

It will be more convenient for the user considering that the meta-model will not be imported into the project by the user. Further, on this new graphical view (tree) the imported elements on the profile diagram may be highlighted for the user guidance and the element will be not editable. Similarly, we can directly import meta-classes to profile from this new tree view.
