7 years ago I thought this could be a little more utilitarian. I've added in an icon shortcode that accepts a type, [icon type="pdf"]Link[/icon]. It will need some css + icon.

something Dave B. brought up in our call was the option for a PDF form icon to display when a PDF link is available, we discussed creating a shortcode
