2 months ago I haven't personally ever used a DM-409 but both mics are applied the exact same mic calibration file by Audyssey so at least they think they're identical.

Have you ever tested to see whether the ACM1HB and the DM-409 are the same spec microphone or calibrated the same? And can they both be used interchangably with a denon amplifier (or any brand) to setup the AVR?
