The outcome sound is lacking a lot of things, i do not know if this is something that i did wrong, or if there's something wrong with original calibration or with REW's. For the new profile created with 1.2 i guess something might be wrong with the Optimal crossover frequency calculations as some speakers are clearly not to 40hz/60hz ( the Sony SS-B1000 or the Magnat's ).

I will upload the profile today, and report back Thank you

Did you check your 'final' responses on the target curve in REW? If you see that speaker responses start falling off earlier than indicated by the logs, let me know but it's highly unlikely.

Your sub time alignment is perfect and you can lower the xo frequencies from 80Hz to measured levels if you wish so since you use your system for stereo listening. The phase delays indicated at the xo levels are all within 6ms which is also very good. Remember Audyssey should be at reference setting and dynamic eq / volume needs to be off. The bass is adjusted to be balanced at 75dB and may be increased by sub volume setting on the go.

Reporting back with the test for the above

  • sound clarity is very nice
  • front speakers are lacking depth/dynamics, they sound very flat. the sound changes if DynamicEQ is enabled, which i guess is normal.
  • woofer is a bit absent and i had to adjust the gain with +5db the outcome response was a bit odd. it seem to be too much in some cases while in others it needs more gain. I've left the Parametric EQ disabled in the app.
  • the above feedback is for music in stereo (2.0) and stereo + sub (2.1) with YT as source, Spotify Premium, and local flac files by having a baseline with the same songs on the same listening position at the same volume

For the new profile created with 1.2 i guess something might be wrong with the Optimal crossover frequency calculations as some speakers are clearly not to 40hz/60hz ( the Sony SS-B1000 or the Magnat's ).

I will upload the profile today, and report back Thank you

Thanks for updating, I had a change to briefly test the build and here is the outcome divided in two sections:

  1. Music in stereo or 2.1 - YT, Spotify Premium, local FLAC files

    • same outcome, it lacks depth and bass. the main speakers L and R which are KEF q950 are lacking bass and the sound does not sound as "spatial", perhaps i`m doing something wrong (which yet i do not know what ) or perhaps the calibration focuses on the Atmos/DTS configuration.
  2. Movies - Bravia Core pure stream, your files which you've made available, local files

    • the sound is dinamic
    • SW needs to be adjusted to +4db ( i think i have to tweak it a bit more using the parametric EQ for compensation on the 25hz dip , don't know yet if this is a good idea )
    • sound effects from the movies are amplified nicely, are crisp and delightful
    • i changed front's to Large from Small I plan to test more, later, today and i will report back any notable news For both tests Audyssey was set to Reference and both Dynamic EQ and Volume were disabled (off)

Thank you
