I have 708 markdown notes and the scan is so slow that it crashes. #354

As the title says, the plugin is so slow in my 708 note vault that when I press scan it gets stuck and I have to restart obsidian.

What I have done to fix it is to create a vault intended only for anki notes.

Hi, it seems like the developer left the project, @Pseudonium do you think you will continue to maintain this plugin ? Let the community knows, for people to make their choice when choosing this plugin.

Regarding your issue, it seems critical for the heavy use of this plugin, do you have 708 notes in total or 708 notes with cards in each one ?

708 notes in total. The ones that contain Anki cards are only around 30-40. I must say that I also have Excalidraw notes and some small PDF files (~15 MB).

I find another plug to connect obsidian and Anki ➡️ https://github.com/reuseman/flashcards-obsidian updates are frequent
