[SOLVED] Chinese character is garbled when opened with vscode on ubuntu

solution:

step 1: use vscode to open the project, don't open any file

step 2: Help -> Show All Command -> search "workspace settings"

step 3: search "encoding", go to "User" panel, check "Auto Guess Encoding"

step 4: now you can open files
