Get Free Volumes from octree2pointcloud #407

I have been using octree2pointcloud to get the coordinates of the occupied volumes my octomap. I want to modify the script to also return the free volumes as well saved to a separate pointcloud. I thought this would be as simple as modifying octomap/octomap/src/octree2pointcloud.cpp to save a seperate pcd when the when isNodeOccupied(*it) returns false. However this does not seem to return the same "free" coordinates as viewed in octovis for the same .bt file. How can I modify the script to return the free voxels?

Looking at the results it seems I have the outline of the free space, but I expected all free space to be filled with coordinates like in octovis, when free octree volumes is checked. Is there some space filling alogrithm I am missing? I can provide screen shots if that would help

I have pasted my updates below, where I simply add an else statement in line 97 and build another PCD file called "test_unoc.pcd" in line 122:
