[Feature Request} (not a problem report) - Read and save current EEPROM contents #346

I know AVRDude can extract/download the contents of an EEPROM. This would be a great option in the Octoprint plugin, as one could save the eisting firmware prior to flashing, as a working version to flash back to. May already be there but I don't see it mentioned...
