Players are confused by levels in which we are allowed to use the fork, but don't need to.
At the same time, play testing showed that if the boyfriend flatly refuses to give the fork, players keep asking over and over again, expressing anger towards the boyfriend.
Solution?
First time you ask for the fork:
Player: "fork?"
Boyfriend: "no fork" (a fork with a :no_entry_sign:)
Second time you ask for the fork:
Player: ":heart:"
Boyfriend: ":heart:"
Player: "fork?"
Boyfriend: "no fork!"
Third time you ask:
Player: ":heart:?" "fork!!"
Boyfriend: gives you the fork.
