Problem With Tags #540

Open rtlehr opened 5 years ago

I'm using tags with the SEBLOD articles and having a crazy problem. When a user has permissions of "Registered" and below the tagging works just fine. A user views an article, they click on a tag, they get a list of other articles with that same tag. If the user has "Registered" and anything else, like "Editor" then when they click on the tag they get the error below:

1054 Unknown column '3example' in 'where clause'

"example" is the tag they clicked on.

Joomla install specs Joomla 3.9.0

SEBLOD Version 3.16.3

Akeeba Backup

ArtAdiminer

Gantry 5 Template

I've checked on 3 different installs of Joomla with 3 different hosts (godaddy, 1&1 Plesk Panel, Amazon Lightsail Joomla) and I'm getting the error on all 3. I've also tried tags with a clean install of Joomla with the sample content and the tags work just fine.

Please let me know if you need any other information.

Thanks, Ross

I can't confirm that, works ok for me with built-in Article Tags field. Did you create a new field? Normally search is done by tag id not by tag itself as in your case.

They are Article Tags. To see the error follow the link below

http://orchardcore.pixelinfluence.net/

Scroll down, click on "Practice" to see the error, then you can click on "General" or "Example" to see the tags work. The difference between the articles is the author and content type. The Tags that work were written by a "Super User" and the other was written by a "Registered" user with "Editor" permissions.

I'm on vacation for Thanksgiving, but when I get back, I can set you up an environment where you can have full control to take a look.

Thanks, Ross

I have a test environment set up at

http://seblod.pixelinfluence.net

Is there a way to send you the admin name and password? I don't mind placing them here if that's best. I'll take the instance down after (if you need to) take a look at the back end.

Thanks, Ross
