On Seblod 4.x I'm a little bit lost. Please, What about #683 ?!?

Would someone please explain how we apply this to SEBLOD in Joomla? Instructions would be most helpful. Do we copy the code and manually install it? Is there nothing to install - this is just telling us this is fixed and we wait until the next release of SEBLOD?
How do we get help when there are no instructions and no one, especially anyone from SEBLOD, answers questions on their website - or they answer every few years and months - long after we need a resolution?
