$.tree.focused().refresh() can't work on IE8 but it works fine on IE7 & FF. #988

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.$.tree.focused().refresh() can't work on IE8 but it works fine on IE7 & FF. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output: works well on IE7,IE8 and FF.

What version of the product are you using? On what browser?
