We made some changes recently to use the get API call + use that resulting player url, but i don't think we are handling the redirect for transcoded content. We must still be using the original crafted url somewhere.
I.e. there's a bug with some files where sound cuts out when you scrub, which should be fixed with the transcoded version, but it still cuts out in app. You can confirm it works on odysee.com in browser: https://odysee.com/@redicetv:1/amberturd-mepoo-mysterious-food-plant-fires-earth-days-agenda-2030-environmentalism-ff-ep165:9
There's a separate issue filed for the audio cutting out, but it seems related to some specific transcoding settings a few channels are using.
