Issue getting data to load correctly into the Power BI reports for Project Accelerator #18

Good Afternoon,

My Power BI reports for Project Accelerator (downloaded from Github) are not loading proper data. If I create a new project or a new Project Request in Project Accelerator or Project for the Web, I do not see it listed in the Project Requests Report or the Portfolio Dashboard report. My Project Requests report is completely blank despite having 4 active project requests in Project Accelerator. My Portfolio Dashboard report lists only 2 of the 4 reports.

Hi @BM222222 , Thanks for trying out the Accelerator, opening the issue, and sharing screenshots of what you're seeing. Did you load the data into the Power BI report as the same user who is creating the data within the Project Power App?

Power BI will only show the data in the report that you have access to. For example, if the user in the Project Power App is different from the user creating projects, then the data will only appear in Power BI if

  1. The user in Power BI is an admin in the environment
  2. The user in Power BI is a member of the group that the project was shared with
  3. The user in Power BI is the same user creating the project
