Take a Tour causes Teams to freeze #245

We have installed Icebreaker successfully but we have a problem with the Take a Tour function from the adaptive card. Both of the problems below happen in both the web and fat client.

From the Icebreaker chat, if the user clicks on the button "Take a tour", the Microsoft Teams Client will stop working and the only thing that will continue working is the chat where the app has been installed. Doesn't matter where the user clicks, the Microsoft Teams app will not respond.

From the Team that the app has been added to, if the users clicks on the "Take a tour" button, nothing happens at all. Teams does not freeze but the button doesn't seem to do anything.

Please can you advise? Thanks Emma

Hi @RowanFireFish, thank you for letting us know about the issue you're facing, we're looking into it.

Hi @Porkai-Pandian do you have any update for us please?

Porkai-Pandian commented 2 years ago

Hi @RowanFireFish, yes we're able to reproduce the issue with take a tour, however this should not impact the matching functionality of the app, did you receive the matching notifications from the bot? You can check this by manually triggering the logic app and see if you're receiving the notification.

Hi @Porkai-Pandian Yes the rest of the app is working and we are getting pairings. Unfortunately though, if clicking the Take a Tour button freezes the Teams up, our customer will not go live with it. Do you know if you will be able to find a resolution to the problem?
