You cannot send messages to this bot #283

  1. Deployed the app successfully in MS Teams Admin and set to 'Allowed'.
  2. Created a custom Permission Policy and allowed Icebreaker under Custom apps.
  3. Assigned the custom policy to my account.
  4. Added Icebreaker in Teams
  5. Now getting 'You cannot send messages to this bot'.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Hi @vzantua , Thanks for raising the query. Basically, it is a one way communication where for a scheduled time Icebreaker bot will matches you with the other members of the team and sends out a card. So it is not possible to send a message to the bot and this is expected.

Thanks! But the reason I asked the question is because we're not getting the bot Welcome message, so I thought it's connected. any ideas as to why?

@vzantua , Could you please try trigger option in logic app. Once you click on Run Trigger, a template will be triggered in the Icebreaker chat section. Here is the reference.
