Fresh Install of Version 3 #191

Closed devansinleesburgva closed 7 months ago

We have had a difficult time installing this app. We installed version 1 and tested it out. We attempted to update to version 2 and had difficulty. We thought we had deleted everything linked to version 1 and installed version 2, but different staff is seeing different screens.

We are still in testing phase. Is there a method to COMPLETELY delete in 365 anything related to TEOC and install Version 3 from scratch?

If so can you please detail the method?

Thank you in advance.

@devansinleesburgva , thank you for reporting this issue. Yes, you can completely clean up everything. Here are instructions to clean up -

  1. Delete the TEOC SharePoint Site from SharePoint Admin center.
  2. Delete Team Sites which you've created from TEOC app from SharePoint Admin center.
  3. Make sure these sites are deleted from Deleted Site Section as well.
  4. Delete Resource group
  5. Then follow this link to deploy TEOC app.

When I attempt to clone the repository locally from here: https://github.com/OfficeDev/microsoft-teams-emergency-operations-center

I click on code and then choose download zip -- but I get a 505 Internal server error. Can you provide guidance?

devansinleesburgva commented 7 months ago

Second question -- should I delete the existing TEOC Teams app before creating from scratch??

v-ajaysahu commented 7 months ago

@devansinleesburgva , Yes, you need to remove existing TEOC Teams app as well.
