HTML5 Colorpickers are not working in 'New Teams' on Mac #2062

HTML5 color pickers, e.g. <input type="color">

do not open in 'New Teams' on Mac. They work correctly on Teams classic and on Windows.

@sebiJo - We have tested this issue in Mac Desktop teams version 23306.3405.2513.9796(preview). It is working fine from our end .Here is the screenshot attachment. The red color item in screenshot is HTML5 color picker. Image 28-11-23 at 2 48 PM

Hi @SaiPratap-MSFT, thanks for following this up! Please test if the color picker opens, i. e. when you click on the red field, it should open a color picker to select a custom color. For us, in Teams classic it opens correctly, in New Teams it does not.

We are using macOS Sonoma 14.1.1 (latest) and Mac Desktop teams version 23306.3405.2513.9796 (preview).

@sebiJo - We are able to repro this issue, we have raised bug for the same. We will inform you once we get any update.
