Microsoft Teams UI Kit (Figma) #150

Open Prasad-MSFT opened 1 year ago

Prasad-MSFT commented 1 year ago

Microsoft Teams UI Kit doesn’t provide code samples or references. Same for the Playground. It provides Typescript or React samples and API references: image

The storybook should be fixed and republished to chromatic. Thanks!

Hi @Prasad-MSFT — this library has been deprecated by the developers in favor of Fluent Blocks.

Furthermore, the UI Kit is a Figma community file, so it is not responsible for providing code samples. Fluent Blocks, however, does provide code samples in some parts of its Storybook: https://aka.ms/fluent-blocks-storybook

We're working on a bot in Microsoft Teams which heavily uses Adaptive Cards. Our UX developers have already done the designs for the same in Figma. How do I render these design in Teams? Is there a way to export figma designs to JSON payload that can be directly rendered or are there intermediate steps that I'll have to follow. Pls help

Hi @csnarain, this package is not for Adaptive Cards, which is its own design system.

I’m not personally aware of a way to convert Figma designs directly to Adaptive Cards, however there is at least this visual editor: https://adaptivecards.io/designer/
