Is the Announced component deprecated #1250

We use this component in multiple places in OWA and I recently found that it stopped announcing words which was working pretty well before. I also found the document page says "Coming soon..."

I also tried the examples in the document page such as Quick Actions and Bulk Operations, it seems the Narrator didn't read what it was expected to say.

Can you please provide us update on this component as it is impacting our product?

It seems like it is working on Edge but not on Chrome
