Terminal object as a machine type. Give it something like 5 wires so people can add signallers. So you can make a door bolt computer, lights, etc. And then add a function the the UI that lets you add/read logs.
Potentially could make a "relay" machine where a wire is input, and when triggered it fires off any other connected signallers, to expand a computer's control
Apparently terminals are just there for decoration, I guess we could give them some use, at least write logs into them so you have the classical "Fallout lore in computer" meme
