Crazy/Rising RAM and CPU usage on a website page #11669

On this article the extension seem to accept the cookies but the RAM and CPU usage keep rising until the browser displays an error message of "Out of memory".
It happens only on this site with this extension, but may occur in other contexts (?).

Note: I use opera.

I can verify in that I can add the following. On https://frame.work/gb/en, or at least on some pages within that domain, CPU usage exceeded 80% on a laptop of mine and the CPU started getting too hot. The same problem occurs with the original I Don't Care About Cookies.

This seems a serious problem to me.
