Could you give more details of the feature that you are suggesting?

I didn't understand the purpose of the image that you uploaded.

sanket0211 commented 7 years ago

Do you mean to say that we need keyboard shortcuts for the options which are being shown in the image, For eg. If I press CTRL+W it should apply the option Speak the Word(Just an example)? Am I correct?

@ceilican sry for the late response. @sanket0211 your right.

Using the mouse every time and scrolling through the list would be a daunting task instead, keyboard shortcuts would help solve this problem.

Also on double tap showing the translation, I find it useful. I use google dictionary for finding the meaning of the word every time I read an article on the web so that I don't need to switch to other tabs and concentrate on the content. screen shot 2017-01-24 at 8 17 30 pm

That is an interesting feature. But how often would it be used? I suspect that many users prefer to use the mouse, even though we (programmers) tend to like keyboard shortcuts.

Anyway, if you find an easy way to implement keyboard shortcuts in a way that benefits users who like keyboard shortcuts without degrading the experience of users who do not use shortcuts, then please go ahead and implement it.

How is this related to the topic of this issue (keyboard shortcuts). If you meant to suggest another feature, please create a new issue for it.

boro741 commented 7 years ago

yeah @ceilican it's not related with a keyboard shortcut. I'll create a new issue on this.
