At the moment uae-wii is set to use 640x480, this resolution is wrong for some games, and all music demos - that is why it is neccesary to force aspect ratio correction so the screen is squished to fit on the screen. Please could you add 336x272 (PAL 50Hz) (low resolution mode) which is basically 720x576 interlaced without excessive overscan (same as PAL DVD resolution)
the AMIGA is a PAL machine really, with probably over 99% of software being intended for PAL, 50Hz which displays a screensize of roughly 336x272 (or rarely, 720x576 interlaced in HAM mode with overscan)
A lot of games do also use 320x240 in low resolution mode (which is really a 60Hz NTSC/PAL60 resolution) but runs them in 50hz inside the 336x272 PAL video screen - so you get big borders on these games
Although there is an option on uae-wii to use 320x240, it is not really switching the wii actually into 320x240, it is still in 640x480 interlaced mode. which is not how the AMIGA displayed it
for PAL games that use a lot of the screen, like 'Solid Gold' (the game that comes with the emulator) needs 720x576 or better still 336x272 PAL-50 (low resolution mode without pixel/screen doubling and excessive overscan)
and for other games which use the NTSC resolution, please could you add 240p (320x240 NTSC / PAL60 mode)
Please see Retroarch, SNES9x-GX & Mednafen-wii which all have support for 240p (320x240, 256x224 and other low resolutions) this looks amazing on CRT TVs - just like the real consoles
