A complement/replacement to the Temporary filter set would be to have
Filter set validity definable.

It's easy to come up with some usual definitions, here described in words
instead of date/time/repeats: "Skip all metal/hard rock at night/evenings",
"Skip Christmas music except for 20th-26th Dec.", "Play this kind of music
only at Spring (Break)", "Play this music only when the temperature as
above x degrees C" (connection to weather service/weatherdatetime
screensaver needed), "Play this only in Monday Mornings/Friday Afternoons",
"play this only at the birthdays in our family"...
