Could you describe the problem or enhancment ?
Problem. Every CustomScan scanning process for custom tags takes far too 
long (almost an hour for 15000 tracks) and chokes (100% CPU usage) the 
squeezeboxserver process in the meantime, meaning that there is no WebUI or 
possibility to listen to music during it.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Any action that triggers a CustomScan rescan for custom tags (I don't 
use the other options).
