I could only reproduce this when I was on Multiplayer, can you reproduce anywhere? Even in SP worlds?
I tested this in singleplayer and multiplayer. Both seem to be affected in the same way.
Odd. Can you test Dynamic Lighting without shaders, Does it lag the same way?
Dynamic lighting doesn't appear to lag at all.
This seems to be most apparent while using the Faked-Real shader. Lag spikes are at their worst when new chunks are being loaded, but they still continue to be an issue after all chunks around a player have been loaded. They cause horribly inconsistent frame times, making even 60 FPS feel like 20-30 FPS or worse.
