Increase the node count limit of 65536 #1535

Greetings, Per the title: this is a request for increasing the node count limit of 65536 for UT 469 similarly to how it's done for Unreal 227.

With 227i the node limit was doubled to 131072, with 227j it was quadrupled. UT is multiplayer-focused but is also used for single player mods (notably via OldSkool Amp'd), and new SP projects would benefit from a higher node limit just as in Unreal 227.

Given the commonalities between Unreal and Unreal Tournament - further reinforced by the community patches incl. by harmonizing the editor tools to UED2.2 - having similar node count limits in 227 and 469 would allow for easy transferability of SP maps between the two games, which benefits a shrinking SP player-base.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this request!

227 and 469 goes different roads. It is dangerous think it can be use something between them. Editor for example. It produce bugs. And with differences more and more. It is not just node count number or some other thing which easy make in sync. Now it is forks which far away from each other, so better never mix it, before it not goes too late and need recreate some work manually.

Hey thanks for the reply Buggie,

Understood regarding the differences between the 2 forks of the engine. I guess it cannot be helped. That diminishes the value of my argument concerning compatibility of maps between the 2 games, but there still remains the fundamental interest in having a greater node count limit in UT 469, as that would help mappers working on ambitious projects (especially single player projects). My appeal to the developers is that since a higher node limit was achieved for 227, I hope they can do the same with 469.
