Ripper blade controlled by Player rotation/crosshair #1577

Had a blast on a server showcasing a revamped Ripper in Unreal Tournament a while back. This enhanced version grants players the ability to manipulate the Ripper blade, turning it into a homing projectile by holding the left click to allow such functionality. Thought it was a nice addition that spices up gameplay and even includes a dedicated checkbox in the input tab within the options menu. Paying homage to the classic Razorjack from Unreal, while keeping the original UT99 ripper functionality too. Some kind of homing feature for the ripper would be nice - first or secondary fire.

Silly idea but still an interesting one id say. Seems like a vanilla feature that should've been in the game now that I think about it, but lacked proper implementation maybe?

One day I was changing the settings and found this (image below). This doesn't work in offline mode, unfortunately. Can't remember where I found it - don't remember installing any mods/mutators that do this. Edit: Might be a feature from a server that runs a dopepugs mutator.

For mutator requests, I would suggest posting your idea in the https://ut99.org/ forums. Modifying the base game weapons (such as the ripper) is not good for compatibility reasons. The best practice would be to have this as a separate mutator, it should not be an integrated modification inside the 469 patches.
