FEATURE REQUEST: Custom default icons #1628

With 469e, users can use their own default texture. I would also like to be able to use my own default icons — those reptile heads for Jump Lifts have always been ridiculous. Whenever i start a new map, i usually have to create default Actors and go thru the process of defining the skins showing more accurate and descriptive icons, then duplicate those to put them throughout the map. It would sure be nice to have these already set up. Another option should be a drawing setting for the default icons, such as modulated, masked, or translucent. Maybe this can be customizable in the editor's INI.

There no such option actually in 469e. You possible mess something. Maybe with TextureGrid feature. It is not default texture.

As workaround I can suggest you put own icons and textures in some folder and import them on each editor open into Engine package. That will replace them. Not save Engine package, just do your mapping.
