You refer to an article that describes meshes to be at least partially invisible. I noticed this in 469C RC2 also but wasnt sure if this had something to do with bad config. Botplayer was completely invisible to me after a few rounds of playing. I will try reproduce this and report in the corresponding issue.
But then again this issue here only describes that my own player is working fine - no lags or delays- but it seems like "world" and other players are frozen for a fraction of a second. Only occured in XOpenGL for me.

I confirm your words. This renderer works differently on different machines. I also have a stuttering. "world" and other players are frozen for a fraction of a second. .
For me it happens on XOpenGL and OpenGL as well. Sometimes players became invisible for a few seconds. For example on the FACE map, when I stay on the tower, sometimes players became invisible on enemy spawning area for 1-5 seconds. It happens on different online servers. It happens on different maps. Also both drivers start stuttering and micro-freezing when ping is over 70 (even less 120).

I have NVIDIA 2080 with latest drivers. 8-th gen CPU.
The problem is hard to describe. One time you think everything is just fine and dandy - then all off a sudden it becomes like having micro pauses during gameplay althrough own movements and animations work just fine. Its only that shots appear delayed and also enemies seem to hang for that amout of time also. Its really just a few ms.
Not sure if this makes any sense. I will further investigate this and post here.
