IDE Plugins for JetBrains (IntelliJ, PHPStorm, WebStorm, etc.) and VSCode would be AMAZING.

3Cols is by FAR my favorite snippet manager! BUT our team has to use Cacher instead simply because they have a PHPStorm plugin. 😖

A VSCode extension is something we'd definitely like and should be possible using our API.

I'll mark this as an enhancement for the future but it's something I'm keen to have a look at.

I got carried away with this idea and wrote the initial version of this extension which is now available on the Visual Studio Marketplace.

The extension currently allows you to get/ insert and save/ update snippets.

I'm also opening up this repository as open source, so feel free to open any issues/ fork/ contribute here.

We use JetBrains products, but this is an AMAZING start! I have never built an IDE plugin before, but maybe NOW is the time to learn. I will take a look at the code, and determine how difficult it will be to port it over.

Well hopefully we can work together to make the JetBrains plugin happen, which will cover 18 different IDEs in one go. 🤩
