Semantic search my browser history

I keep having trouble finding a specific website or article that I was just looking at. It would be cool to explore some semantic search on that, like asking it "can you show me all the politics-related articles I read in the last week?" and just get that.

Steps:

• setup a local LLM like https://gpt4all.io/index.html
• write a NodeJS file to take a piece of text, and get the vector embeddings
• write a function to search for the closest vector given a search input and a list
• write a function to, given a URL, generate embeddings for the title & for the content of the page
• setup a chrome extension to do this in the background and store it in a database or something
• make a little search UI/input to query the stored articles
