what value do I really provide? "Finding cultural bottlenecks in your industry / in your company, AND fixing them?"

because I understand the tech enough that I can articulate what is possible even if none of your engineers say it is possible?

I have helped a lot of CodeDay students get jobs by writing blogposts/get on HackerNews etc. I should list that as examples of my successes as a mentor. Most recently is the Jared blogpost with deckgl
