A blessing, because it allows gathering all the crap (redundant code, repeated things, dirty hacks and messy features) from my modules to a common place -- helping to ascertain each item with a higher understanding of the things at stakes and clean-up these other modules, reduced to what they have to do, without the ugly crusts and the dirty parts...
A nightmare, 'cause I am back to the exact point I was 1 year ago... Needing a better fork to cook that book.
Micro-hacking the core base class and typesetter method by method is too difficult.
Forking them is somewhat frightening... and the maintenance effort might not even be worth the time...
